Patricia Wall provides tools and information that allow you to make real, sustainable change. Sustainable – no falling off the diet wagon because there is no diet. Self-Mastery allows you to change your body and your relationship with food at the root cause – your subconscious.
My journey into alternative medicine started with a four-car pile-up and a prognosis that I would never recover certain functions. I recovered many years ago, despite that prognosis. In that process, and further research and development with a team of dedicated experts, I have taken ancient methods and created modern tools, allowing people to reach into the subconscious mind where the ability to permanently change body and behavior reside.
I decided to apply my skills to food and weight issues when my scales presented a number I considered unacceptable. I refused to diet because I considered that a painful, unsustainable process. I wanted my body to function differently – like those people who can eat anything without gaining weight. (Instead of gaining weight by walking past the refridgerator.)
That first research took me a year. I lost fifty pounds while eating potato chips every day. Obviously I could have lost more weight faster by dieting – but. Here’s the but: I didn’t diet, I lost the weight. It doesn’t come back. I do eat differently in many ways, because what I want to eat has changed with the Mind Over Weight program - which requires no discipline or deprivation. I still eat the chips and the weight doesn’t come back.
Research continues, developing new tools and applications in response to client demand. Self-Mastery is a toolset that you can use for what you want. I love the possibilities as people take what I teach and go where they want to go – often in directions that wouldn’t occur to me. That’s what self-mastery is – your choice.
The book Mind Over Weight: A New Choice will hit stands in 2008.
